Delete your MawaqitGo account
Last updated: October 24, 2026
This page explains how to delete your account in the MawaqitGo app for Android, and the data stored with it. Signing in is optional — if you never signed in, we hold no account data about you, and uninstalling the app removes everything it stored on your phone.
Option 1 — Delete in the app (instant)
- Open the MawaqitGo app and make sure you are signed in.
- Tap the Profile tab.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account and data.
- Tap Delete to confirm, then confirm with your Google sign-in when asked.
Your account and data are deleted straight away, and the app restarts fresh.
Option 2 — Request by email (no app needed)
Uninstalled the app, or can't sign in? Ask us to delete it for you:
- Email support@mawaqitgo.net from the Google account email you used to sign in to MawaqitGo.
- Use the subject “Delete my MawaqitGo account”.
- We confirm the request matches an account, delete it within 30 days, and reply to let you know it's done.
What is deleted
- Your account — your sign-in record, name, email address and Google or Apple account ID.
- Your cloud backup — prayer log, dhikr totals and streak, display name, settings, any city you chose by hand, and your last-read Qur'an position.
- Feedback linked to your account — messages you sent from the app while signed in.
- Data on your phone — when you delete in the app, everything the app stored on that device is wiped too.
Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Your GPS location history is never stored on our servers in the first place, and your prayer history only reaches them if you turned on backup.
What is kept, and for how long
- Purchase records — if you bought Premium, the transaction record is kept by Google Play or the App Store and RevenueCat (our purchase processor) for as long as purchase, tax and accounting records require. To cancel a subscription, use Google Play → Payments & subscriptions or your Apple ID subscriptions; deleting your account does not cancel it.
- Anonymous analytics — usage statistics in Firebase Analytics are tied to a random app-instance ID, not your account, and expire automatically after at most 14 months.
- Feedback sent from iOS — feedback sent from the iPhone app is not linked to your account, so it is not removed automatically; email support@mawaqitgo.net if you would like it removed.
- Crash reports — diagnostic reports in Firebase Crashlytics are deleted automatically after 90 days.
- Advertising ID — belongs to your phone, not to us. You can reset or delete it in your device settings (Android: Settings → Google → Ads; iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking).
- Email requests — if you write to us, we keep that correspondence only as long as needed to complete and confirm your request.
